
Focus of study: mental health and wellness
CHILL is a two-semester (three upper-division credits per semester) internship offered by the Center for Prevention and Outreach through the Health and Wellness Living Learning Center.

Prerequisites:
Interview and instructor approval required prior to enrollment.
Program students participate in a course of research-based study - co-instructed by a health educator and a psychologist - to prepare them to conduct "experiential learning" workshops and peer outreach events to heighten awareness of issues related to mental health and wellness. Program curriculum focus: depression, crisis intervention, suicide prevention, stress reduction, body image and nutrition, program planning, public speaking.
