
Focus of study: physical health and wellness
CHOICE (Choosing Healthy Options In the College/Campus Environment) is a two-semester, three upper-division credit per semester internship offered by the Center for Prevention and Outreach through the Health and Wellness Living Learning Center.

Prerequisites: Interview and instructor approval required prior to enrollment.
Program students participate in a course of research-based study - co-instructed by health educators and a psychologist - to prepare them to participate in and/or conduct "experiential learning" workshops and peer outreach events to heighten awareness of issues related to physical health and wellness. Program curriculum focus: lifestyle choices, nutrition, contraception, safer sex.
