Academic Achievement Ceremony
The Academic Achievement Ceremony recognizes full-time undergraduate students who earned a 4.0 grade point average (GPA) in the previous semester, while maintaining at least a 3.85 GPA, cumulatively. This bi-annual event is co-sponsored with the Division of Campus Residences and is invite-only.
Each semester we co-sponsor a drive-in movie event with the Commuter Student Association which takes place in the South Parking Lot. We feature a recent blockbuster movie on a three-story high screen for FREE, and provide you with complimentary popcorn! This event typically takes place in September and April.
During the year we often make arrangements with the Staller Center and Stony Brook Athletics to offer discounted tickets to upcoming performing arts or sporting events, respectively. We will feature these promotions on our website and will often ask for advanced sign-up and/or purchase.
