Each semester, the Office of Commuter Student Services recognizes an undergraduate commuter student who has positively impacted Stony Brook University by contributing to the success of a campus department or office.

This student is awarded with a plaque, a gift certificate to the bookstore, and his/her picture in the Commuter Commons for a semester.
