Tips for commuter students
- On days when there is inclement weather but the University remains open, check with your individual professors or academic departments about the status of your courses
- Some professors will post an announcement on Blackboard or send an email
- If you need to call, an online phone and email directory can be found here
- If class is still being held, but you cannot make it to campus, check your course syllabus for information about how you should handle contacting your professor
- If there is nothing mentioned on your syllabus, be sure to get that information during the first week of the semester
