Sessions will include topics such as: leadership, service learning, civic engagement, emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, networking… and more! This FREE one day conference will not only allow you to network with other students and student leaders, but also with faculty and staff from Stony Brook! *LEADERSHOPS*Leadershops is a new initiative on campus to afford student leaders with the opportunity to sharpen their leadership skills. Leadershops is a collaboration with the Division of Student Life and various departments on campus to offer students a “continuing education” for their own leadership development. Students who complete 6 out of 10 workshops in a series will be given a certificate of completion for that series, and will be recognized at the Campus Life Awards for their completion.SPRING 2008 Emerging Leader SeriesThe “Emerging Leader Series” is geared towards students interested in determining their personal leadership style and developing leadership skills.
