Student Organization Office Space Allocation Timeline
Fall & Spring 2012/2013
| February 3 | Space allocation process for 2012-2013 reviewed and approved by the Director of Facilities Operations. Memo sent out to DOS student staff, SAC/SBU tenants and Student Life Advisory to participate in the committee. |
| February 17 | Email memo invitation for Space Allocation Applications sent to all registered student clubs and organizations. Space Allocation Timeline and Town Hall dates will be included in this memo. |
| March 23 | Deadline for office space applications. |
| March 30 | First Student Organization Office Allocation Tenant Meeting - Place/Time TBA Attendance to one of these meetings is Mandatory |
| April 11 | Second Student Organization Office Orientation Meeting - Weds. Place/Time TBA |
| April 16 | Space allocation sub-committee meets to review application and recommend space. |
| April 23 | Office space application status sent to all applying organizations and |
| May 4 | Deadline for appeals of office space allocations. |
| May 11 | Space allocation is finalized for the semester. Memos sent out to all clubs that appealed. |
| May 17 | All groups must vacate office and inspect space with the Facilities Manager. All groups that have been assigned keys must return keys back to building Facility Manager. Groups who don't return keys before Graduation will be responsible to pay for re-coring and new keys. |
| August 31 | Second invitation memo and application forms sent out to all |
| September 21 | Deadline for second set of applications. |
| October 12 | Deadline for recognized groups to claim space for 2012/2013. Groups |
| October 17 | Department of Facilities Operations reviews applications and assigns space. |
| October 19 | Office space application status sent to all second set of applicants. |
| October 26 | New assigned spaces must complete a tenant agreement. |
| October 31 | Space finalized for Fall 2012/Spring 2013. No more additions |
