Family Weekend 2014 is on October 10-12.
What is Family Weekend?
We invite all family members to take part in Family Weekend, a traditional event that occurs in the Fall Semester. Family members connect with their students for a chance to experience a bit of student life at Stony Brook University. Join us for a weekend of fun-filled activities and entertainment for the entire family!
Family members have the opportunity to attend lectures presented by select faculty, become members-for-the day of some of our student groups, enjoy a tailgate barbeque, and support our Stony Brook Seawolves at the football game!
Family Weekend provides a great opportunity for family members to connect with one another, and become familiar with university faculty and staff. We look forward to seeing you soon!
Register HERE for Family Weekend. Last day to register for Family Weekend is Wednesday, October 1. Ticket prices are: Current SBU students $10, Adults $30, Children (ages 6 to 17) $30, Children (ages 5 and under) FREE.
Ticket prices include Welcome Reception, faculty seminars, workshops and activities, barbeque, and football game. More details about the program to come.
