Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Health Program
The Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Health Program began in Fall 2008. It serves to assist career-changers achieve their goals in regards to pursuing graduate-level health professions. It is not an enrichment program. The program advisors and directors work with students on a regular basis, working on class registration, gaining health-related experiences, as well as finding research experiences, and completing applications. We encourage interested students to visit the prospective student section of this page and to contact the advisors with questions at email@example.com.
There are two types of post-baccalaureate programs:
1) Programs for career-changers. These students have taken a minimal amount of pre-health courses or none at all.
2) Enrichment programs for students who completed most or all of their pre-health coursework and who are looking to improve their GPA and increase their chances as an applicant or reapplicant to medical school.
Our post-baccalaureate program is the first type. If you are looking for advice on enrichment programs or experiences to enhance a 'gap year' please go to our section on Other Post-bacc Options.
