Dance Cardio Strength & Core Self Defense Mind & Body

Dance
Belly Dancing Learn the basic moves of belly dancing while getting a full body workout! This class will excite your senses and sculpt your entire body.
Bollywood As opposed to the average fitness class, Bollywood Fitness introduces a fun-filled, highly energetic way to exercise and burn calories. Students will enjoy the beats of Bollywood music while also learning some basic dance moves. This class takes the rhythm of Bollywood and delivers a muscle-strengthening work out for anyone and everyone. This exhilarating program assures a fun-filled experience for anyone who joins the class. It is guaranteed to have you moving to the beats of Bollywood while helping you keep fit.
Dance & Sculpt Love to Dance? Love to Tone? This class is for you! Start and finish the class with fun, easy to follow dance and get your body sculpting movements in during the middle of class.
World Beat Dance your way into fitness with this fun, high energy class with music from around the world! You will dance to Latin, Hip-Hop, Bollywood, Pop, Reggaeton and much more! If you love Zumba then this is the class for you! All fitness levels welcome.
ZUMBA Ditch the workout, join the party! This program fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away. Zumba® Fanatics achieve long-term benefits while experiencing an absolute blast in one exciting hour of calorie-burning, body-energizing, awe-inspiring movements meant to engage and captivate for life! The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat.
ZUMBA Sentao This program is an intense way to enhance the fitness-party thrill! Instructors who become liscensed in this specialty program learn explosive chair-based choreography that will strengthen, balance and stabilize the core, and step up cardio work in a whole new way. Students learn to use a chair and their own body weight to enhance muscle strength, improve definition and endurance, and tone their physique!
ZUMBA Toning Learn how to use lightweight, maraca-like Toning Sticks to enhance rhythm and tone all the target zones, including arms, abs and thighs. Zumba Toning is the perfect way to sculpt your body naturally while having a total blast. 

Cardio
Boxing Master boxing techniques by using punching bags, gloves and little choreography. Gloves are available for purchase through the online portal. 
Boxing Conditioning Power through 3 minute rounds on and off the bag while incorporating classic boxing drills with a twist such as speed bag, bob & weave, and jump rope; all of which are sure to shred! Master some boxing techniques by using punching bags, mitts/gloves and little choreography. Gloves are available for purchase through the online portal. 
High Intensity
Interval Training
(H.I.I.T)
Nothing but hard work in this class. You will focus on testing your strength and muscular endurance and push yourself through a wide variety of exercises and movements. Cardio Dance Party Dance your heart out to this high energy dance based fitness class. Learn dances to individual songs. Playlists are music you recognize and like. Leave class feeling better for "dancing it out". All fitness levels welcome. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of class.
Cardio Sculpt This fun, fast passed class will get your body moving! Start with 30mins of cardio and end with 30mins of total body work. All fitness levels welcomed.
Cycle Cinema If you like movies, this is the class for you. Give your mind a break and work your body as you cycle and enjoy a movie.
Cycle Fit A cycling workout that utilizes an adjustable stationary bicycle to take the participants up hills around bends and travel the flats to music and guided imagery. Towels and water bottles are required.
Cycle Core A cycling workout that utilizes an adjustable stationary bicycle to take the participants up hills around bends and travel the flats to music and guided imagery. Finish your ride with 15 mins of core strengthening exercises. Towels and water bottles are required.
 Cardio Craze A fantastic heart pumping workout that will combine high and low impact moves that anyone can do.
 Jump & Drill Kickboxing and athletic drills that will take your workout to the next level.
 Kross Kick A high intensity cardiovascular workout that includes boxing and kicking movements put to music that strengthen the upper and lower body. Since you will be hitting the bag, gloves are available for $10 through the online portal while supplies last.
Kick Boxing A high intensity cardiovascular workout. This class includes boxing and kicking movements put to music that strengthen the upper and lower body. 
Pink Gloves Boxing With Pink Gloves Boxing (PGB) you’ll take your workout to the next level, physically AND mentally! This small group fitness program empowers women, fosters relationships, and works for all levels of fitness. It is structured similar to martial arts, where members level up, learning new skills and earning new gear. The program/classes focus will be with the 3 tools of empowerment; Fun, Community and Achievement. No experience necessary.
 Step It Up Step right in! This class will help burn calories and maintain your weight with focus on endurance and strength training. This fun and enjoyable workout will get you on your way to a new you with a new step.
 Sweat Shop This heart pumping class will get you moving and sweating with body weight exercises guaranteed to push you to your limit. Please bring some water as you will be sweating!
 Turbo Kick This unique combination of movement patterns and techniques work together to give the ultimate cardiovascular workout. Each full body workout consists of a sport specific warm up, higher paced intervals, easy to follow combinations, kickboxing specific strength/endurance training and a mind/body like cool down designed to maximize results and have fun at the same time! Turbo Kick allows participants of any fitness level to participate and custom tailor their workouts.
TRX Circuit Training Get the best workout in the shortest time with your body weight! Combining TRX Suspension Training® and various body weight exercises we will burn more calories in less time. The TRX allows us to safely perform hundreds of exercises that build power, strength, flexibility, balance, mobility, and prevent injuries, all at the intensity you choose.

FIT Friday Join us for an exciting surprise Friday workout! With so much to choose from our instructor will keep you moving the entire time with a variety of equipment and multitude of exercises. Have a request, attend class!
Gym Class Heroes Miss that competitive edge at Stony Brook? Drop into this class for some organized open recreation where the possibilities are endless. After some brief overview of the activity the whistle will blow and we begin! Whether its volleyball, badminton, arena football, dodgeball etc your bound to be asking for more. 
50/50 Come get a great work out and start with 30mins of fun cardio drills, followed by 30mins of upper and lower body sculpting. All fitness levels welcomed. 
POUND®

Come let your inner rock start out! This fast past, high energy class will get your body moving and sweating by using Ripstrix which are light weighted drum sticks, and drumming to the beat of the music!         Check it out here!

Strength & Core
Boot Camp Drop and give me 10! Increase your stamina and muscle strength with this intense, high energy workout. This class will consist of toning exercises, hard-core calisthenics, and powerful moves that will get your heart pumping and sculpt your entire body.
Circuit Training This class is a combination of high-intensity aerobics and resistance training designed to be easy to follow. This "circuit" will involve you completing of all prescribed exercises in the program/routine. The time between exercises will be short, but don't worry we'll give you time to breathe!
Exercise Express A 30 minute class that will incorporate lower and upper body sculpting and core strengthening to give you a full body workout.
Triple Threat Get ready for some cardio, strength, and core training in roughly twenty minute segments designed to help you get the most out of your workout in the least amount of time.
Body Burn Get ready to move with this total body workout! This class will incorporate all muscle groups in a beginner friendly routine while keeping your heart pumping.
BOSU Blast Time to break out the BOSU's and have a blast. The entire workout will encompass the BOSU, get ready to have your balance, coordination and mind be challenged in this workout!
Booty Call You have a duty to your booty in this workout. It will train, tone, and tighten your best assets targeting your hips, glutes and core.
Core & More This class is Core Conditioning to the MAX! Get in all the best parts of Core Conditioning plus a little MORE by elevating your heart rate and alternating to your major muscle groups when your core has had enough.
20/20/20 A total body workout, this class includes 20 minutes of cardio, 20 minutes of strength training, and 20 minutes of core conditioning.
Kettlebell
& Sculpt
Tone your whole body while utilizing the Kettlebell. Never tried? This is the class for you that will make it easy for you to learn the movements and motions of this piece of equipment. This class will tone all major muscle groups.
Ab Attack Get ready to work through 30 hard minutes of core strengthening exercises while using the BOSU Balls, medicine balls and much more!
Absolutely Abs This high intensity abdominal workout will leave you sweating. The class focuses on the core with different movements and exercises. Laughing will hurt the next day...
Step 360 This toning class will challenge your bodies but incorporating the Step360 into every exercise and drill.
Pilates This workout is based on the teachings of Joseph Pilates. Each exercise sequence addresses spinal stabilization, alignment, and muscular strength and endurance. Results from this training include improved posture, stronger abdominal and back muscles and increased body awareness.
On the Ball Challenge your body with the use of a stability ball, while working all major muscle groups.

Self-Defense
Brazilian Jiu Jitzu Introduction to Submission Grappling and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. 
Krav Maga The official self defense system of the Israeli Defense Forces. This simple, effective system that emphasizes instinctive movements, practical techniques, and realistic training scenarios. Level 1= introduction/beginner Level 2= you have the basics down and been to a number of classes. 
Tae Kwon Do Come explore the Korean art of Tae Kwon Do at your own pace, in a cooperative, non-competitive learning environment. Learn to kick, punch, and block, while developing basic self-defense skills, quick reflexes, coordination and confidence.
Women's Only Self-Defense (R.A.D) This class will develop and enhance the options of self defense so individuals may become viable considerations to the person who identifies as female who is attacked. The R.A.D. program is not a traditional self-defense course. It fills a long standing void in personal defense training by enabling a person who identifies as female to quickly learn a set of cognitive and physical skills that will be beneficial for the years to come.
Self Defense Open to All All human beings have a fundamental right to be safe thus the overall goal is to reduce victimization through informed decision making and sensible action. This class will have a brief discussion on crime prevention, learning and practicing self-defense skills and Adrenaline Stress Conditioning through scenario training.
Wrestling Conditioning Get a great workout while incorporating both body weight training and cardio intervals. Mats will be provided.

Mind & Body
Hatha Yoga Designed for experienced yoga enthusiasts, but our instructor has over 30 years' experience and has plenty of variations for everyone. This advanced yoga workout incorporates more challenging postures utilizing Hatha yoga techniques.
Kripalu Yoga Sometimes called the yoga of consciousness. The practice emphasizes breathing in coordination with movement. The intent of each session is to find balance and develop inner strength. All levels are welcome; since you're practicing moving with your inner awareness many modifications to poses will be shown.
Meditation & Recitation Learn how to relax and unwind your body and mind. This guided class will take you through a journey. Meditation is not a technique but a way of life.
Power Yoga This class will take you outside the box of a normal yoga class and focus more intensely on strength and flexibility. Previous yoga experience is recommended.
Reiki Healing Circle Free for all! Reiki is a hands-on healing technique that balances, realigns energy, and activates your own healing powers. It reduces stress, increases energy and focus, and enhances creativity. Free for all, no check-in required!
Vinyasa Yoga Vinyasa means breathing systems. In this class movement is synchronized with breath, linking the postures together into a dynamic practice. The breath is used as a constant point of reference for returning to and resting in the present moment. All levels are welcome.

Tai Chi In this low-impact, slow-motion exercise, you go without pausing through a series of motions. This is a mind-body practice that will relax and heal the body.
Yoga Fit This class combines traditional yoga postures and modern fitness for an incredible mind/body workout that will increase strength, endurance, and flexibility. Expect basic to intermediate poses. All fitness levels welcome.
