The Wellness Center is located on the third floor of the Student Activity Center (SAC) Rm 307. Amenities include Locker rooms and showers, Cardiovascular equipment, Strength training machines and Free weights.
The Wellness Center was created to provide a range of services and programs that support the holistic development of students, faculty and staff. The Wellness Center links and interacts with many areas of the campus, including, but not limited to: the Student Health Service, Counseling Center, Physical Education and Athletics, Living Learning Centers, Health Technology, Nutrition, Career Center, Psychology, Student Cultural groups and other clubs, the Interfaith community, and other academic disciplines.
These interactions relate to our general philosophy of incorporating the areas of the Wellness Wheel: Physical, Emotional, Intellectual, Environmental, Cultural, Occupational, Spiritual and Social Wellness.
All Stony Brook University Students may use the Wellness Center by presenting the new Campus ID Card. All University employees and staff are required to pay a membership fee at the Bursar office and obtain a membership card at the Wellness Office in the Student Activities Center, Room 225.
