Welcome to the Campus Recreation Center!

Located between the Student Union and the Sports Complex, the new, three-floor facility will include approximately 85,000 square feet of programming space.

Features include a three-court gymnasium for basketball, volleyball, and badminton; three group fitness studios; a 17,000 square-foot weight/fitness room; Campus Recreation offices; 1/10th-mile track, Multi-Activity Court; locker rooms, equipment rental, two lounges, and wireless Internet access.

Groundbreaking of the center began on January 4, 2010. There is no exact date of when construction will be completed but there is a timetable of about two years from when construction started. The Campus Recreation Center will be available to Stony Brook students, faculty and staff.
