At Stony Brook University we offer a variety of rooms and gardens that accommodate both large and small groups, indoors and out. Many of our rooms are wired for laptops and arrangements can be made for all of your audio-visual equipment needs. Classrooms and auditoriums can be reserved for meeting space, large presentations, or ceremonies. Receptions and banquets can be hosted in a number of our ballrooms and banquet halls.

The Student Activities Center
The Student Activities Center, located on the academic mall, serves as the focal point of the University. Events hosted at this facility include lectures, conferences, movies, concerts, gallery shows, and formal ceremonies. Our building exceeds ADA standards by offering multiple wheelchair access points and all of our spaces are wheelchair accessible. Enjoy our facilities and venues, many of which are equipped with access to the campus wireless internet program.

The Student Union
The SB Union has several programming spaces available. The Union auditorium, ballroom and various meeting rooms all have diverse setup options and possibilities. The Courtyard is surrounded by the Auditorium, Lobby, Bleacher Club, and Fireside Lounge. With outdoor tables and chairs, beautiful gardens, and access to the campus wireless internet service the courtyard is a popular place to relax, hold outside meetings, or other receptions.

Child's Mansion is located on the north shore of Old Field overlooking Flax pond. The beautifully appointed porticoes, decorative motifs and craftsmanship of this historical home is reminiscent of days gone by. Child's Mansion is ideal for as small conferences, seminars or special events.
