Sports Camps

In addition to our other Conference Housing Programs, Stony Brook provides accommodations for individuals attending one of the overnight Sports Camps hosted on the Stony Brook campus. Sports camp participants are housed in traditional corridor style residence halls along with other camp participants. All rooms are fully furnished and include wireless and wired Ethernet access, as well as cable tv service (televisions are not provided). Campers provide their own linens; the beds in each room are extra long twin sized.

There is strict supervision of Conference Housing guests under the age of 18. Each residence hall will have a full time Conference Hall Director assisted by student Conference Assistants at a ratio of approximately 1 Conference Assistant to 10 campers. In addition, each Sports Camp will provide their own staff, including medical staff, to support the camp operation when not in residence.

There are a several overnight Sport Camps hosted on the Stony Brook University campus each summer. Camps include: Basketball; Lacrosse; Soccer; Football; Volleyball; Tennis; and Softball. There is a separate application and brochure for each camp. For additional information on the specific Sport Camp programs, please call the Stony Brook Camp Office at (631) 632-4550. Registration and payment is done directly through the Stony Brook Camp Office.
