HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER

Every residence hall has its own Hall Council.  All the residents of the building are automatic members of Hall Council, and it is highly recommended that all residents attend the weekly meetings (usually on Tuesday nights).

Speak to your Hall Council eboard members to find out what topics will be discussed in the upcoming meetings. Topics are usually directly related to your residence hall or to the campus, and your vote is vital to making changes happen. The only way to vote on any topic or issue is to physically attend the meetings.

The length of the meetings vary in each building, but they typically last between an hour to two hours. On occasion, especially during a major event, meetings will be used as times to work on certain projects, like banners and floats. These meetings might last longer.
