Stay Safely Connected to Campus Wi-Fi

On Wednesday, September  21, 2016, DoIT’s Infrastructure team will be replacing the University’s expiring security certificate for the WolfieNet-Secure and Eduroam wireless networks.
 
How do I install the new certificate on my device?
When connecting to WolfieNet-Secure or Eduroam on or after Wednesday, Sept. 21, you will be prompted to accept a new security certificate. Please accept this new certificate to ensure that you are using a safe and secure Wi-Fi connection.
 
What if I don’t get prompted to accept the certificate?
If you do not get prompted, you may need to turn off your Wi-Fi and turn it back on and then select WolfieNet-Secure or Eduroam.
 
I’m still experiencing difficulty connecting to WolfieNet-Secure or Eduroam, what should I do?
Try using WolfieNet-Get-Connected or SBUMed-Get-Connected (if you are part of the Medical Center) to reconfigure your device. Follow the simple instructions below to install the new certificate on your device on or after Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2016.
  • Connect to WolfieNet-Get-Connected or SBUMed-Get-Connected through your device Wi-Fi settings
  • Follow all prompts (you will need to enter your NetID/NetID password
  • After following all prompts, ensure you are connected to WolfieNet-Secure or Eduroam in your Wi-Fi settings
