Welcome to Summer Conference Housing!

Welcome to Summer Conference and Guest Housing, a unit of the Division of Campus Residences at Stony Brook University. Summer Conference and Guest Housing is available from the beginning of June through the first week of August. Check our reservation site for exact dates.

Whether you are planning a meeting, conference, retreat or special event we are available to support your needs including on-campus housing.

Stony Brook University is home to a large variety of residence halls, suites and (on a limited availability basis) apartments. Housing rates vary, and are based upon level of amenities provided:

  • single or double occupancy
  • air conditioning
  • linen service

All of our Conference Housing units are staffed by both professional and student staff on a 24/7 basis. All staff has undergone a criminal background check (including a check of the New York State Sexual Offender Registry) and is trained in first aid, CPR and use of an AED.

Although the University provides Conference Housing to both adult and minor aged groups, the facilities offered to these programs are physically separated from one another and there is strict supervision of Conference Housing guests under the age of 18.

We're open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week, during the summer conference season.
