Welcome and Introduction

First and foremost, the Student Activities Office would like to thank you for making time to be an advisor. Having an advisor is a major factor in the development of an organization and its members. You will have a major impact on the lives of the students and their experience here at Stony Brook University. We cannot express how important an advisor's role is to the organization as well as the University.

We have put together some information that we believe will help guide you if you have any questions or concerns about being an advisor. You will find helpful information about basic policies, event scheduling, and even tips on how to be a successful advisor. Again we thank you for taking the responsibility of being an advisor and we look forward to working with you in the near future.
