WELCOME TO THE UNION CRAFT CENTER!

Our mission is to promote the appreciation of art and fine crafts for Stony Brook students, faculty, and the community.
By providing leisure opportunities through non-credit classes in an atmosphere of relaxation and fun, the Craft Center is a place to interact with others and to discover or enhance your creative abilities!

The Craft Center offers for-pay instructional classes in Bartending, Pottery, Drawing and Handbuilding, and weekly FREE craft events for students!

 

                         

 FREE Craft Events for Students: 

Open Craft Studio: Every Tuesday 6:30-9:30, Union Lower Level room 081-Free crafts, different each week! Tie-Dye, Zen Gardens, Book-making, Woodburning, Record melting and other unique and fun crafts!

Fashion Studio: Select Mondays throughout the semester, check our facebook page for dates! Jewelry making, Henna, Shirt stamping, Accessories, Phone cases and more!
