Opportunities
The Office of Student Activities offers a variety of experience that will enhance for life long skills. We offer internships, paid federal workstudy positions, and graduate student opportunities.
Internships
In conjunction with the Career Center, student have the opportunity to work in the Craft Center, Media Office, and Office of Student Activities. Below are a list of internship that are available throughout the year:

Student Employment
The Office of Student Activities hires Federal Work study students to work work in the Media Office, Craft Center, Art Gallery, and the Office of Student Activities. Some responsibilities that each position holds are:
Front Desk Receptionist
Assisting clubs and organizations with event planning
Creating fliers and assisting with event logistics
Troubleshooting phone calls and email inquires
Working events that assist with building relationships

Graduate Student Employment
The Office of Student Activities hires Graduate Students to assist with planning and executing events on campus. The following positions are offered in the Office of Student Activities:
Graduate Student for Fraternity and Sorority
Graduate Student for Craft Center
Graduate Student for Clubs and Organizations
Graduate Student for Weekend Programming
Graduate Student for Media
We have currently filled all positions for the fall 2012- spring 2013 semester.
Weekend Life Council
The Office of Student Activities works with clubs, organizations, and departments to create a vibrant Weekend Life on Campus. To assist with this initiative the office hires students to help plan, promote, and staff events that are happening on campus Friday-Sunday. The Weekend Life Council sponsors various events through the semester. Some responsibilities of the role of a Weekend Life Council member include:
Brainstorm, develop, and plan weekend programming.
Be the primary staff to oversee and run weekend programming.
Assist with the set up and break down of weekend events.
Publicize weekend life events.
5 to 10 hours a week and weekends are a must
***Friday afternoon availability is extremely important as many events occur early on Fridays!
Events occur: Aug. 24th to Dec. 7th & Jan. 25th to May 10th.
Must be available for summer and winter training.
