Crusade is a diagram that proposes to explain why America went to war with Iraq. The background is desert camouflage, which alludes to the government's hiding/repackaging of information about the war. It is printed directly on sheet aluminium, which gives it a seductive military sheen. The title reflects the Christian moral tone of the U.S. government's rhetoric about the war, and the use of the war as a tool to galvanize and focus patriotic feeling.
