WELCOME TO THE UNION CRAFT CENTER

The Craft Center, located in the lower level of the Student Union building on the Stony Brook University campus, offers programs in leisure, arts and craft skills. All courses are professionally taught by some of the region's finest artists, craftspeople and leisure educators.

The mission of the Center is to promote the appreciation of art and fine crafts for Stony Brook students, faculty, staff, and the community. By providing leisure opportunities through non-credit classes in an atmosphere of informality and fun, the Craft Center is a place to interact with others and to discover or enhance your creative abilities. As part of the Department of Student Union Activities, we also participate in a variety of festivals and events where SB students can create free crafts.
