LEADERSHOPS FINAL PROJECT

Any student who participates in six or more workshops in a semester has the opportunity to complete a final reflection project and earn a LEADERSHOPS Certificate of Completion. This final project is due no later than November 20th, 2009 and must be submitted to studentlife@notes.cc.sunysb.edu

Create a Powerpoint presentation document that covers responses to the following questions:

  • List at least 3 concepts/key points that you learned through your participation in LEADERSHOPS. These can be specific key points from a particular workshop or general concepts that combine information from several workshops.

  • What is the connection between the concepts you listed and your experience as a student leader? Please relate to specific experiences, if possible.

  • What are some new goals you would like to set for yourself based on the workshops you attended? Goals can be short and/or long term. When considering goals keep the following structure in mind: goals should be S.M.A.R.T. which stands for Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Time-bound. Review the attached document for more specifics on each of these components.
